Past to Future

I am the ghost of Roger Q. Mills. I was born March 30, 1832 and died September 2, 1911. I was a United States lawyer and politician. During the American Civil War, I served as an officer in the Confederate States Army. Afterwards I served in the United States Congress, first as a representative, and later as a senator. In my 19th century life I was a staunch conservative Democrat. For the better part of a century, I’ve been turning over and over in my grave with utter shame over the terrible change that occurred in the Democrat party. If I were able to rise from the dead, I would most certainly be a conservative Republican. Inasmuch as it’s not likely that I’ll rise from the dead any time soon, I depend on an unnamed ghostwriter to express my thoughts and views.

My spirit wonders free in the beautiful Antelope Hills located in the northern part of the Oklahoma County named in my honor.

Today, as opposed to what I was during my physical lifetime, I am a conservative Republican.  I would likely be a member of the Tea Party. The Democrat Party of the 21st Century is bereft of intelligence and common sense. I plan to post articles about my views on secular politics here on this blog.

I am a Global Warming Skeptic on the issue of global climate change. I have no tolerance for the purveyors of Catastrophic Anthropogenic Global Warming (CAGW). None whatsoever.  As time permits, I plan to post occasional articles in opposition to the multitude of prophets of climate change gloom and doom. This is the first of what I hope to be numerous posts…
